By default, processing is performed in your browser. Your images and extracted text are not uploaded by this app unless you later integrate a cloud OCR service.

Tip: For best OCR, use good lighting, keep the phone steady, and crop to the text area.

Zoom, torch (if supported), resolution presets, grid overlay, video duration and more—with graceful fallbacks.
1) Use bright, even lighting. 2) Keep the camera parallel to the page. 3) Avoid glare. 4) Crop tightly around the text/table.
For clean tables, choose Table Mode. You’ll get a preview table and a CSV export. If the table is complex, use crop + OCR mode for higher clarity.
Use the brush to hide sensitive content. Redacted areas are removed from OCR output (and can be whiteout/blackout).
Web apps can reliably download photo/video to your phone. Many phones allow sharing to Photos/Gallery via the Share button (availability varies).
Tip: circle/brush over anything you want to remove from OCR (IDs, signatures, faces, prices, etc.). Then run OCR.
When ready, tap “Run OCR”. For tables, choose Table mode on the Camera screen before capturing.
“Save Photo” downloads the edited image (web limitation). “Share” uses the phone share sheet if supported.
CSV(Text) exports one row with timestamp, mode, language, confidence, and text.
Note: “Pro” controls depend on your phone + browser. This panel shows/hides options based on device support. For best compatibility use HTTPS and modern Chrome/Safari.
